Just got my scope.  What a disappointment to see that it is not no more then a cheap Hantek setup. I could have purchased that directly from them and got it much cheaper.

I don't own the Hantek but almost purchased one of their kits before getting the MaxiScope.

Although some (or all) of the probes are Hantek the scope itself has better specs at least for voltage input.

The Hantek says max 400V however I am assuming this is the protected amount as it says for the x1 probe you can measure up to 5V, x10 up to 50V, etc. So even with the 20:1 attenuator 100V is the max.

The MaxiScope goes to 100V so with 20:1 you can measure up to 2000V, more than enough for fuel injector and primary coil spikes. This is the same max input as the Pico 4000.

And for price, for the MaxiScope I paid around the price of the Hantek kit V.

I just tried out the MaxiScope PC software which is OK but prefer to use the MaxiSys tablet as the scope and I doubt the Hantek will work with the tablet.

Here is a video on youtube, the only one I can find.
